Kawsaki takes us back to the year 2012, with this 9 Track epic.
The early 2010s were a exciting time for the artist as he had just left the genre of Hip Hop and was starting to be inspired by different styles of Chillwave, Retrowave, Chiptune & early Vapor. He started hanging out with hipster types in the Ann Arbor scene, and witnessed cool and avant-garde shows with psychedelic displays.

Artists like Com Truise, Neon Indian, Kavinsky, Chromeo & Daft Punk were especially formative for him in this period, and you may even hear the influence in some of his work from that time.

Kawsaki’s earlier influences from Hip Hop can also be heard throughout this album.

All songs featured in this compilation were produced by Kawsaki between the years of 2009 & 2012.
