The goal of the /“Sample Planet”/ is to give the producer the ability to effectively “mine” for samples, in a nicely formatted 15-minute stem.
Unlike other sample packs or Stem packs which can be creatively limiting,
This Sample Planet TM, allows you to scour a vast sonic landscape for vapor gems!

First a concept by Kawsaki, thought up between 2019 & 2020,
after his experiments mashing up 80s pop samples, he realized he could create unique sonic “worlds” just from two main sample sources.

For Vaporwave, Future Funk, and Hip Hop musicians alike,
clearing samples is a bitch, and DMCA takedowns are a mother.

Kawsaki:

“When I was younger, I used to make rap beats, and it was a pain sampling copyrighted material with the fear that someday I might get sued! Mind-you, this was before vaporwave was even a thing, before the internet was Crawling with everyone and their grandma/little brother sampling records and making beats.”

“I noticed a lot of peeps in the vapor community getting DMCA takedown notices, or having their catalogs pulled from music stores, I also felt that too many people were sampling the same “safe” tracks. So, I wanted to find a way for [especially vapor-Cats] to sample recognizable tropes and themes for the genre without making it so obvious!

I’m hoping that with Kano Water, producers can finally get the same thrill of sampling without the worry of the overreaching & ridiculous copyright law getting in the way!”

Each sample planet is completely customizable, and you can edit, chop, pitch them up or down, time-stretch & screw them as you like.

Slow down and add reverb to make the perfect vaportracks!
Speed them up and add anime girls to make compelling FuTUREFuNK UwU!

Or you can add a shit-ton of reverb, time-stretch them, and add EQ for that perfect Slushwave or Mallsoft mix!

Each section of the [Planet] is designed to be chopped and edited, just like you’re mining a rock quarry.

You can lay out the stem in your DAW’s timeline, cut sections you like, and pull them into your song!

Because of Kawsaki’s Method of mashing, splicing and mangling samples to make them unique, each stem planet is Royalty Free.
The songs your produce are yours to own and sell!

FAQuestion: Where did the name “Kano Water” come from
A: It’s a bit of a joke name.

"Kano Water" roughly translates to "Masculine Water"

It's a bit of an inside joke about a body wash/spray that I saw in a Japanese ad from the 80s.
